Being outside is very important for parrots: Under the influence of UV radiation from the sun, birds can make their own vitamin D. This is essential for your bird's health.

But in addition, birds see a much wider color spectrum than we do. In addition to the colors humans perceive - green, red and blue - birds can also see ultraviolet light (UV-A). This makes their world much richer and more colorful than ours.

It is important then that your bird can get outside regularly.

You can occasionally put the cage outside, but even more fun is to go for a walk with your bird. With the Easy harness you can do this very safely and you will see that the bird loves it!

But of course, birds are also built to fly. There is nothing like seeing your buddy fly through the skies like a rocket.

Because of your built-up bond, your parrot will gladly come flying back to you, but originally parrots are prey animals, so they can be startled by something just like that and then flee away. Because of the tremendous speeds they can reach, they may suddenly find themselves far out of your sight range. Because birds have a high burn rate, without suitable food they will weaken quickly. The sooner you get back to your bird, the better chance you have of finding your bird healthy and safe to take home.

You can equip your bird with the Enjoy Parrots - Ayama GPS tracker / transmitter with which you can trace your bird quickly through the App.

You can place the GPS on your bird in the following ways:

1. If you mainly walk with your bird or sit in the garden, use the Easy harness; here is a holder for the GPS on the back of the bird.

2. If your bird flies freely, use the Easy harness; because of the special fastener on the back, the harness is very easy to put on and the GPS sits very flat on the body and after you adjust the harness on your bird, the straps sit nicely on the body so the bird will not easily get entangled in branches.

3. If your bird is free flying a lot, you could use the Enjoy Parrots tail clips; you mount them with the special pliers on the big tail feather of your bird and there is only a very small super light clip on the body so the bird will not get easily entangled in branches and the bird is hindered as little as possible while flying.
